Scars, trauma, and pain can’t always be seen with the naked eye. This light is a reminder for people to embrace and appreciate the impermanence and imperfections of this world.

Many people, including myself, think that we’re bound/limited to our past and our flaws, but instead we should accept them and learn to love ourselves. In Japan, when pottery is broken, instead of discarding it, they would repair the cracks with gold. This not only restores the pottery, but it teaches a powerful lesson on not giving up. This light is for anyone who has gone through hard times or have been through trauma. The physical cracks in the light are a constant reminder to love yourself and make peace with your past.
